I'm a generalist who's increasingly specialising in privacy. I write software, by hand or with AI, run the operational side, and get things done. I'm at my best as the lead technical person on a project, because I can talk to people, lead people as well as orchestrate computers. People tend to hire me because they want an exceptional builder to get a thing done, but not have to keep one on as an employee forever and ever. I also do tree work as it gets me off the chair and out of the office. Physical work is important and it's often the piece that other Fractionals are missing.
01 Software
I've been building and designing software since 1999. I've built for small businesses and startups in over 40 markets, on tech powering tens of millions in annual revenue. I have a can-do attitude.
02 Leadership
Fractional CTO. When clients tender for technical agencies or talk to suppliers, I'm the technical person on their side of the table. I can motivate teams and get people working as a cohesive unit.
03 Privacy
I help clients build privacy into their technology from the start, and work out which protections belong in the code and which belong in how people work. I also implement technical solutions to process data subject requests.

04 Trees
I make technology products for arboriculture, including Dendromeda. I'm also available for hire as a groundworker or a very slow climber. As a ground worker I'm excellent at working with customers and ensuring a safe working site. I'm also not lazy.
05 Elsewhere
Between contracts, I build my own products with my own AI product forge at heem.team.
